In this month’s #PeopleOfSPECTRUM we caught up with Belinda from SGCD. As a bona fide foodie, she shared some of her lunch recommendations around Bugis and her favourite day at SPECTRUM (hint: treats are involved). 

Hi Belinda, could you introduce yourself?  

Hey, I’m Belinda (or Bel) and currently a Marketing Specialist with SGCD which supports an online trading platform. My scope of work includes promotion planning, social media management and online advertising.  

We heard you’re a foodie. What would be your top 3 food recommendations around Bugis? 

I’m pretty sure Franny (a.k.a. Yvonne, our lovely Concierge) leaked this info. Selecting a Top 3 is tough, there’s just too many! But the 3 places that my colleagues and I have been frequenting are… 

1.) Mala at Seng Huat Coffee House, the coffeeshop opposite Bugis Junction, 

2.) Bukit Purmei Lor Mee opposite the famous temple, and  

3.) Jason Niang Dou Fu – it’s halal! 

If you could only use one social media platform for a year, which would it be?

I would choose…Tiktok. It’s a one-stop platform for me to scroll through videos and even shop! 

Which would be your favourite day at SPECTRUM – Healthy Fruits Tuesdays or Mid-Week Treat Wednesdays? 

The answer is too obvious! My favourite day at SPECTRUM has got to be Mid-Week Treat Wednesdays for sure hahaha
