This event will be in a Webinar Session format.
Cell based meat in restaurants will soon be a reality in Singapore. This is not only set to revolutionise the way we consume food, it will also have an incredibly positive impact on the long-term sustainability of eating meat. With a growing world population expected to reach 10 billion by 2050, the need to develop new nutritional solutions with low-carbon footprint is more important than ever. The high production costs of cell based meat seem to be the main hurdle to overcome for widespread adoption, so how is the technology evolving to make these meats more accessible? How can consumers be convinced about the benefits of consuming cultivated meat?
Join us on this highly-anticipated breakfast session webinar featuring Dr Sandhya Sriram, Co-Founder and CEO of Shiok Meats. She will share about her personal entrepreneurial journey to revolutionise the F&B industry by starting a company that is the first of its kind in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
