The Evolution of Agri-Food Tech and Investing with Impact

Event Overview

Although less than 1% of Singapore’s land is dedicated to agriculture, the country has sought to become Asia’s urban agri-food tech hub. An increasing number of entrepreneurs are entering the field of AgriTech and FoodTech, bringing technologically-advanced infrastructure and smart systems, such as Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications to optimize food production. What are some of the investment trends in this sector, and key innovations that we can look forward to in the near future? What impact can we expect on sustainability?Following our webinar led by Dr Sandhya Sriram about the future of cell-based meats, we are now bringing another passionate speaker, John Friedman, Director at AgFunder Asia and GROW Accelerator, to talk about the evolution of the Agri-Food Tech sector from an investor’s perspective.
